I had a job fair last week. I found it to be a great way to meet other construction contractors and suppliers. It just so happened that I was at the job fair with my friend who is also one of the contractors I’ve worked with before. She brought a couple of recipes that I’ve been wanting to try so I came prepared. These are great recipes for a party or dinner.
I have to say that I am not a fan of the traditional job fair, when you’ve done all your networking and the job fair is just a few days after it is over. My preference is to hold a job fair where you meet people who are building or remodeling your home, or who are buying and selling your home. These events are a lot more fun to attend but can be more costly.
I’m not kidding, I really wanted to make some sense of the idea of a job fair like this. A job fair is a great way to meet people that are interested in your home, where you will have a lot of money so you can be there for a few hours. It’s a great event that lets you meet the people you are going to meet and get a little money.
You can’t do that at a job fair. You have to do it in your own time and in the process.
I don’t think there is any point in selling your house if you don’t have time to prepare a home for sale.
So lets start by asking yourself what you have to do that you don’t already do. Do you have to go there to meet people? Probably not. If you know the people you are going to meet, you can probably arrange a way to get there. If you don’t know the people, you can make arrangements for people to meet you in your time.
If you have the money to buy a house, you can also take advantage of one of the many real estate websites for free services. Just go to one of the dozens of sites like realestate.com.au and see what they can do for you. You can hire a real estate agent if the money is there. If the money is not, you can also use something like Zillow to arrange for a free home inspection.
It’s always good to bring the right things to job fairs, and that applies to any place. Just a little bit of motivation is always good.
The reality is that you are most likely going to find more work that way. Take a look at your friends that are looking for a job and if they have any friends looking for a job, go to the same place. You will likely find people that have been in the same place as you and your friends, and you can ask them about their experience.
Sometimes it works out to the best of your benefit, sometimes not. Some times you may have no choice but to get a job for the first time and you don’t know what to bring. Bring something that shows you are friendly and helpful. Not only can you help people get jobs, you can also get them a better job. It doesn’t matter if you are the manager or a customer service representative. You can still be a good friend and help out people.
