If you’re looking for a home in The West Shore, don’t look for a house on the west shore, look for a house that’s on The West Shore. It is a very diverse neighborhood that is home to families with children, families with elderly parents, young single professionals, and even young families with young professionals. All things considered, The West Shore, though perhaps not as diverse as other parts of the country, is home to some of the best houses in America.
When we bought our property we were told that we could not have a yard or lawn. We were told that it was against the law to have a yard. They also told us that my wife would eventually have to hire a landscaper to take care of the yard, but they said that it would be $2,000 a month and that they would give it to me for free.
It’s worth pointing out that the law is often arbitrary and even changes on a whim. Even so, we know that we’re not the only people in the country that have struggled with this. In some of the most expensive cities, people are forced to hire landscapers every month to have a yard.
