I had the most productive time in my entire career. It’s hard to imagine how you would spend your days if you weren’t trying to raise your children and earn a living. You want to be a mom, but you can’t afford to do that. My parents would probably have to be financially strapped to live with my kids, but the one time they were able to pay their rent on a car by paying a flat rate for a used car is pretty cool.
I’ve been really lucky and had a great career, but I have to say that I wish there were a few more like me. So many people can be so productive, but so few can be contented with working the hours in their day that make a living. I guess that is probably why I am so obsessed with this topic.

Like all of the other things we said in this chapter, the main goal of having an income is to support your family. This is an important decision parents make. It’s easier to get a second job so that you can support your family with a part-time income because your first job paid less and you needed to put in more effort. However, if your second job can’t pay you enough, you need to take a look at the other options in your job description.
One option that was mentioned in the interview was working as a temp agency. This is a job that you apply for as an independent contractor, but after you have been hired, you are expected to work for the company full-time. This is a pretty common thing, but it doesn’t always pay what you think it should. I do get a kickback from temp agencies when I apply for a home renovation job, but I have a hard time justifying that to my wife.
This is because the companies you work for do not pay as well as the temp agencies. For instance, I have applied for a temp job in the past that was about to pay $15/hr, but my temp agency had only paid $18/hr. This is because the temp agency is taking a cut, while the temp agency is basically putting in your own hours.
The temp agency isn’t looking to pay for the jobs that they’re putting in because of the fact that temp agencies are generally not willing to pay for the services that they offer. I have to say that I have not been to a temp agency for a couple years and it is completely my fault that I am not paying for the services I am doing.
